When our bodies are off, so to speak, it can hinder our natural detoxing abilities, resulting in a build-up or blockage of toxins in the body and a host of health problems. The top two things that cause this toxin build up is the constant over consumption of toxins, and secondly, chronic dehydration.

How can you tell if you have a blockage of toxins and need to detox your body?
Constipation, foot odor, excessive body odor, fatigue, change in skin tone, skin rashes, apparent food sensitivities/allergies, and swelling in the extremities are all symptoms that your body may be suffering from a build-up of toxins and may benefit from a detox.
Can I detox on my own?
Yes, in mild and general detoxification situations.
Are there any at-home ways to detox that you recommend?
Yes, I like the 10-day live food and healthy protein fast. This requires eight days of all live food, vegetables and one fruit per day, along with 6 ounces of lean poultry or fish per day, and up to three egg whites, with a total of 80 ounces of clean water. You are allowed vinegar, fresh lemon and oil for vegetables, along with sea salt, pepper and garlic for spices. The last two days are fasting days. Fasting for 16 hours with one to two vegetable meals. No juicing of fruits or vegetables is allowed, because you need the fiber, and avoiding coffee or black tea works best!
How long do I need to detox?
This is up to you, but we suggest a minimum of three days, which helps reset the microbiome and gives the body a chance to increase its elimination of cellular toxins.
