Reiki

Reikiis a form of alternative medicine known as Energy Healing. Reiki originated in Japan and has been used throughout the centuries for stress relaxation, meditation and healing. Reiki belief is that we all are born with the power to heal ourselves by tapping into our higher self and the life force energies around us. During a Reiki session, the practitioner’s hands are placed just off the body, or lightly touching the body. During the session, natural healing vibrations are transmitted through the practitioner’s hands to the body of the recipient. Working holistically, the Reiki practitioner works to align the recipient’s chakras, focusing on the mind, body and spirit connection. Health benefits of Reiki include relief from pain, anxiety and fatigue, while boosting mood and enhancing quality of life.
